James M. Warner
James M. Warner received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where graduated summa cum laude in 1993. In 1997, James M. Warner graduated and earned a juris doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. During law school, James M. Warner earned internships with Justice Raul A. Gonzalez (Supreme Court of Texas) and Judge Emilio M. Garza (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit).
James M. Warner has a diverse professional background, which enhances his ability to litigate complex matters, requiring a skilled and steady advocate in the courtroom. Shortly following law school graduation, Mr. Warner was an assistant criminal district attorney, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony offenses in Bexar County, Texas. Then, Mr. Warner worked for a law firm, specializing in civil litigation, including, but not limited to, divorce, child custody and child support cases. Since Mr. Warner commenced his private practice, Mr. Warner has combined his interest in and experience managing criminal and civil litigation matters into a law practice, earning him a reputation for professionalism and skilled trial advocacy. Mr. Warner is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Family Law and Criminal Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, San Antonio Criminal Lawyers Association and San Antonio Family Law Association. Mr. Warner is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas to practice law throughout the State of Texas, and is licensed in federal court (Western District of Texas), where Mr. Warner represents those accused of federal offenses/crimes.
